Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County wants you to have complete confidence when you access your bill and make payments online. That's why we require you to enter your Email address and Password each time you enter the Online Bill Payment Area. Our site also uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and 128-bit encryption which provides the most secure level of data encryption available on the market today. This allows sensitive information such as your credit card number to be almost unreadable to anyone who wrongly intercepts the information. One easy way to check if your browser has connected to a secure transaction server and is in secure mode is to look for a solid gold key in the lower right hand corner of a Netscape browser or a locked padlock in the lower right corner of the Microsoft browser.

The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County strongly supports protecting the privacy of all our customers. We realize online services and online account management have created additional concerns for consumers. For that reason, we have developed the following privacy policy for Online Bill Payment.

MAWC asks you to complete the registration process when you first visit the Online Bill Payment site so we can validate your customer information. MAWC will not sell, trade or disclose to third parties any customer identifiable information derived from the registration for Online Bill Payment.

You can modify any registration information including email address, and password, by visiting the Account Settings page after you are logged on.
