How do I know Online Bill Payment is safe?
Many people have questions about the security of information traveling on the Internet. MAWC has taken strict security measures to protect our online customers and our Web site.

Your Online Bill Payment account is not automatically accessible via the Internet. Once you've decided to use our online resource, you must register with us to activate your account for online access. Your identity will be confirmed each time you want to access your account.

MAWC's Online Payments system is hosted at a secure facility, and unauthorized access is restricted by firewalls. MAWC wants you to have complete confidence when you access your internet account and make payments online. For this reason, we require you to enter your Email Address and Password each time you enter the Online Bill Payment area. Our site also uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which provides the most secure level of data encryption available on the market today. This allows sensitive information such as your credit card number to be almost unreadable to anyone who wrongly intercepts the information.

What if I forget my Password?
If you forget your password, click on the Here link on the login page. You will be asked to enter the email address you used when registering for Online Bill Payments. Click Submit and your password will be emailed to you. If you still need help accessing your account online email us at mawcwebpayments@mawc.org or call the office at 724-755-5800.

What if I forget my Email Address?
If you forget the email address that you used to register for Online Bill Payments, you will need to contact us at mawcwebpayments@mawc.org or call the office at 724-755-5800.

Can I pay my bill online if I receive a Shut-off Notice?
You can pay your bill using the online system up to the time your account is scheduled for shut-off. Customers that try to pay their bill online after their account is scheduled for shut-off will need to contact the customer service office in your area. The customer service representative will then advise you of any additional fees that have been applied to the account.

What account changes can I make?
You can change your e-mail address, account password, and credit card information through Online Bill Payments. You will need to be logged into the system in order to make these changes. Changes can be made using the Account Settings link. If you want to update other account information, such as name changes or phone numbers, on your water or sewage accounts, you will need to call the Customer Service office for your area.

How does MAWC's Automatic Payment Plan work?
For your convenience, MAWC now offers automatic bill payment through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), which automatically deducts money from your checking or savings account. You will continue to receive a postcard or billing statement, but you won't have to write a check. Your bank will transfer the funds directly from your bank account on the date the bill payment is due for you. You may sign up for this free service by calling the Customer Service office in your area to request an application. You can also download the form from MAWC's website. Please note that it may take up to one billing period for us to process your Automatic Payment Withdrawal Plan enrollment. We will notify you by postal mail when automatic withdrawal is activated.

Can I receive my bill online?
At this time, MAWC does not have the capability to email bills to our customers. You will see the balance due on your account if you register for Online Bill Payments but you will not be able to view any billing details or billing history.
